For best results pan fry from defrost. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
BBQ
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Ensure the BBQ is hot, place gently on the griddle & cook for 2-3 minutes each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.

- Buffalo Striploin with Creamy Mustard Sauce: Season the buffalo striploin fillet with salt and pepper and sear in a hot skillet with olive oil until browned on both sides and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and allow to rest. Add a little beef stock, cream and Dijon mustard to the pan and simmer until the sauce thickens. Slice and serve the buffalo with mashed potato, tender stem broccoli and the creamy mustard sauce.
- Buffalo Striploin with Roasted Tomatoes and Pesto: Season the buffalo striploin fillet and sear in a hot skillet until browned on both sides and cooked to your liking. Allow the fillet to rest before slicing. Roast cherry tomatoes with olive oil and garlic until softened and slightly caramelised. Serve the buffalo with the roasted tomatoes, crispy potatoes and a drizzle of pesto.
- Buffalo Steak Pitta Wraps: Season the buffalo striploin fillet with smoked paprika, garlic and a little olive oil, then sear in a hot skillet until cooked to your liking. Allow to rest before slicing. Fill warm pitta breads with the sliced buffalo, shredded lettuce, cucumber, tomato and red onion. Serve with a simple garlic and yoghurt dressing.
- Buffalo Striploin with Parmesan Polenta: Season the buffalo striploin fillet and sear in a hot skillet with olive oil until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and allow to rest. Prepare creamy polenta with butter and grated Parmesan. Slice the buffalo and serve over the polenta with roasted cherry tomatoes and steamed greens.
- Buffalo Steak Rice Bowl: Season the buffalo striploin with salt, pepper and garlic before searing in a hot skillet until cooked to your liking. Allow to rest before slicing. Fill a bowl with steamed rice, edamame beans, shredded carrot, cucumber and spring onions. Top with the sliced buffalo and drizzle with a soy, honey and ginger dressing.
- Buffalo Striploin with Crispy Smashed Potatoes: Season the buffalo striploin fillet and sear in a hot skillet until browned and cooked to your liking. Allow the meat to rest while preparing the potatoes. Boil baby potatoes until tender, lightly crush them and roast until golden and crispy. Serve with the sliced buffalo, a fresh green salad and a dollop of garlic and herb yoghurt.
- Buffalo Steak Stroganoff: Slice the buffalo striploin into thin strips and quickly sear in a hot skillet, then remove and set aside. Sauté sliced onions and mushrooms until softened, then add beef stock, Dijon mustard and sour cream. Return the buffalo to the pan and gently heat through. Serve over rice or pasta with fresh parsley.
