For best results pan fry from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked and no pink colour remains before serving. Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY from Frozen
- Remove from all packaging.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Fry meatballs over a low to medium heat for 18 minutes.
- Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.
- Add to your favourite recipe.
Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Keep frozen at -18°C. Best before date indicated on the pack.

- Wild Boar Meatballs with Creamy Mash and Gravy: Brown the meatballs in a hot pan, then simmer gently in a rich onion and herb gravy until cooked through. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, peas and roasted carrots.
- Wild Boar Meatball Stroganoff: Brown the meatballs before setting them aside. Cook sliced mushrooms and onions with paprika, then add stock and cream. Return the meatballs to the pan and serve with rice or pasta.
- Wild Boar Meatball Orzo Bake: Brown the meatballs, then add to a baking dish with cooked orzo, chopped tomatoes, spinach and herbs. Top with mozzarella and bake until bubbling and golden.
- Wild Boar Meatball Flatbreads: Cook the meatballs and slice them in half. Serve in warm flatbreads with hummus, roasted peppers, rocket and red onion, then finish with garlic yoghurt.
- Wild Boar Meatball Curry: Brown the meatballs, then simmer in a creamy tomato and curry sauce with spinach and chickpeas. Serve with basmati rice and warm naan bread.
- Wild Boar Meatball Subs: Cook the meatballs in a rich tomato and herb sauce, then pile into toasted sub rolls with melted mozzarella and Parmesan. Serve with a simple salad or crispy fries.
- Wild Boar Meatball Couscous Bowls: Cook the meatballs and serve over fluffy couscous with roasted peppers, courgette, red onion and fresh herbs. Add a spoonful of tzatziki and a squeeze of lemon.
- Wild Boar Meatball and Potato Traybake: Arrange the meatballs on a roasting tray with baby potatoes, red onion, peppers and cherry tomatoes. Season with herbs and olive oil, then roast until the potatoes are golden and the meatballs are cooked through.
