For best results pan fry from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked and no pink colour remains before serving.
Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY
- Remove from all packaging.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Fry burgers over a low to medium heat for 15 –18 minutes.
- Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.
OVEN
- Remove from all packaging.
- Pre heat oven to 220/Fan 200/Gas 6
- Cook Burgers for 18-20 minutes.
- Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.
BBQ:
- Pre-heat the BBQ to a medium heat.
- Remove the product from the packaging.
- Place on the BBQ and cook for 15-18 minutes
- Turn frequently throughout cooking.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
Why not try:
- Mouflon Burgers with Caramelised Onion and Brie: Cook the mouflon burgers in a hot pan or on the BBQ until cooked through. Top with slices of brie and allow to melt. Serve in toasted brioche buns with caramelised onions, rocket and a little cranberry sauce.
- Mouflon Burger Wraps: Cook the mouflon burgers and slice into strips. Fill warm wraps with the sliced burger, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and red onion, then drizzle with garlic yoghurt and serve with chips or wedges.
- Mouflon Burgers with Feta and Tzatziki: Cook the burgers until cooked through, then serve in toasted buns with crumbled feta, lettuce, tomato and homemade or ready-made tzatziki. Add a side of crispy wedges for an easy dinner.
- Loaded Mouflon Burger Fries: Cook and crumble the mouflon burgers, then scatter over a tray of crispy chips. Top with grated cheese, red onion and jalapeños, then grill until the cheese has melted. Finish with burger sauce and spring onions.
- Mouflon Burger Pitta Pockets: Cook the burgers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Stuff toasted pitta breads with the mouflon, shredded lettuce, tomato, cucumber and red onion, then finish with a drizzle of garlic yoghurt.
- Mouflon Burger Breakfast Stack: Cook the mouflon burger and layer it in a toasted muffin with a fried egg, crispy bacon and melted cheddar. Serve with hash browns for a hearty breakfast or brunch.
- Mouflon Burger Rice Bowls: Cook the mouflon burger and break it into pieces. Serve over steamed rice with roasted peppers, sweetcorn, cucumber and shredded lettuce, then drizzle with a spicy mayo or garlic yoghurt.
- Mouflon Burger Sliders: Cook the burgers and cut into smaller portions if suitable for the size. Serve in mini buns with different toppings such as cheddar and pickle, crispy onions and BBQ sauce, or brie and cranberry for an easy sharing platter.

A great introduction to mouflon, which is stronger than lamb but not like goat. Cooked beautifully and tasted lovely.
