For best results pan fry from defrost. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
BBQ
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Ensure the BBQ is hot, place gently on the griddle & cook for 2-3 minutes each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.

- Wild Boar Striploin with Apple and Mustard Sauce: Sear the striploin fillets in a hot pan until browned and cooked through, then rest. In the same pan, cook thinly sliced apple with wholegrain mustard and a splash of stock. Serve with creamy mash and steamed greens.

- Wild Boar Striploin with Honey-Roasted Carrots: Cook the fillets in a hot pan and rest before slicing. Serve with honey-roasted carrots, parsnips and red onion, alongside a simple mustard dressing.
- Wild Boar Striploin Flatbreads: Sear the fillets and slice thinly. Fill warm flatbreads with the wild boar, rocket, caramelised onion and crumbled feta, then finish with a mustard yoghurt dressing.
- Wild Boar Striploin with Creamy Cider Sauce: Sear the fillets and set aside to rest. Deglaze the pan with cider, then add stock, cream and wholegrain mustard to make a simple sauce. Serve with roasted baby potatoes and green beans.
- Wild Boar Striploin with Red Cabbage and Mash: Pan-sear the fillets and rest before slicing. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and braised red cabbage, finished with a little apple sauce.
- Wild Boar Striploin with Parmesan Polenta: Cook the striploin fillets and slice once rested. Serve over creamy Parmesan polenta with roasted cherry tomatoes and wilted spinach.
