- Grilled Buffalo Steak with Chimichurri Sauce: Season the buffalo steak with salt, pepper, and a touch of olive oil. Grill the steak to your preferred level. Serve the grilled buffalo steak with a vibrant chimichurri sauce made from fresh herbs, garlic, red wine vinegar, and olive oil. This sauce adds a burst of flavour to the lean meat.
- Buffalo Steak Salad: Grill or pan-sear the buffalo steak to your desired level. Let it rest before slicing it into thin strips. Toss mixed salad greens with cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, sliced red onions, and crumbled feta cheese. Drizzle the salad with a light vinaigrette or a creamy ranch dressing.
- Buffalo Steak with Rosemary Butter: Grill or pan-sear the buffalo steak and let it rest before slicing. Prepare a compound butter by mixing softened butter with chopped fresh rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Top the buffalo steak slices with a pat of rosemary butter. Serve with roasted vegetables or a side of garlic mashed potatoes.
- Buffalo Steak with Port Wine Reduction: Sear the buffalo steak in a hot skillet with a touch of olive oil until it's browned on both sides and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak and let it rest. In the same skillet, sauté shallots until they're translucent. Deglaze the pan with port wine and simmer until the wine reduces. Stir in beef broth and a sprig of thyme. Serve the buffalo steak with the port wine reduction sauce.

For best results pan fry from defrost. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
BBQ
- Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours
- Remove from all packaging before cooking.
- Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
- Rub the steak with a little oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Ensure the BBQ is hot, place gently on the griddle & cook for 2-3 minutes each side.
- Add additional timing for preferred steak:
- 2 minutes each side for rare.
- 3 minutes each side for medium.
- 4 minutes each side for well done.
- Once cooked, rest for at least 5 mins.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
