Why not try:
- Slow-Roasted Greek-style Lamb Shoulder: Rub the lamb shoulder with minced garlic, lemon zest, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Roast the shoulder in the oven at a low temperature for several hours until the meat is tender and the skin is crispy. Serve the succulent lamb shoulder with roasted potatoes, Greek salad, and tzatziki sauce.
- Moroccan-spiced Braised Lamb Shoulder: Season the lamb shoulder with a blend of Moroccan spices like cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, and ginger. Sear the shoulder in a Dutch oven until browned. Add diced onions, garlic, tomatoes, and a splash of broth. Cover and braise in the oven until the meat is falling apart. Serve the fragrant Moroccan-spiced lamb shoulder with couscous or crusty bread.
- Pulled BBQ Lamb Shoulder: Rub the lamb shoulder with a smoky BBQ spice mix and slow-cook it in a crockpot or oven until it's tender and easily torn apart. Once cooked, shred the meat and mix it with your favourite BBQ sauce. For a flavorful BBQ sandwich, serve the succulent pulled lamb on buns with coleslaw or pickles.
- Mediterranean Herb-crusted Lamb Shoulder: Coat the lamb shoulder with fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and parsley, along with minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Roast the shoulder in the oven until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Serve the aromatic herb-crusted lamb shoulder with roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, or a side of ratatouille.
- Lamb Shoulder Curry: Cut the lamb shoulder into chunks and brown them in a pan. Sauté onions, garlic, and spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Add the lamb shoulder back to the pan with coconut milk, diced tomatoes, and broth. Simmer until the meat is tender and the flavours have melded together. Serve the flavorful lamb shoulder curry with steamed rice or naan bread.
- Greek-style Lamb Shoulder Souvlaki: Cut the lamb shoulder into cubes and marinate them in olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers and grill until nicely charred and cooked. Serve the juicy and flavorful lamb shoulder souvlaki with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and a Greek salad.
