For best results, fully defrost and cook from chilled. The following instructions are guidelines only. Please ensure product is thoroughly cooked through before serving.
Slow Cook:
- Pre-heat oil in a pan and the oven on a medium heat (180°C / Gas Mark 5).
- Remove product from packaging.
- Fry the meat in a frying pan until browned on all sides.
- Place in a casserole dish and cook in the oven for up to 2 hours.
Why not try:
- Diced Venison and Mushroom Stroganoff: Brown the diced venison with onions and garlic, then add sliced mushrooms, mustard and cream. Simmer until tender and serve with rice or pasta.
- Diced Venison and Red Wine Pie: Slow-cook the diced venison with onions, carrots, mushrooms and red wine until tender. Spoon into a pie dish, top with puff pastry and bake until golden.
- Diced Venison Teriyaki Noodles: Quickly stir-fry the diced venison with peppers, broccoli and spring onions. Add teriyaki sauce and serve with cooked noodles.
- Diced Venison Tagine: Slow-cook the venison with onions, tomatoes, Moroccan spices and dried apricots until tender. Serve with fluffy couscous and a spoonful of natural yoghurt.
- Diced Venison Loaded Jacket Potatoes: Slow-cook the venison with onions, tomatoes and mild spices until tender. Spoon over baked potatoes and top with grated cheese and sour cream.
- Diced Venison and Chorizo Rice: Brown the venison with chorizo, onions and peppers, then stir through rice, chopped tomatoes and smoked paprika. Cook until the rice is tender and serve hot.
- Diced Venison Filo Parcels: Cook the diced venison with onions, mushrooms and herbs until tender. Spoon into filo pastry, fold into parcels and bake until crisp and golden.
- Diced Venison with Creamy Polenta: Slow-cook the diced venison with tomatoes, garlic and herbs until tender. Serve over creamy Parmesan polenta with roasted vegetables.
- Diced Venison and Potato Hash: Cook diced venison with crispy potatoes, onions and peppers until golden. Top with a fried egg and serve with a fresh green salad.
