Why not try:
- Buffalo Fillet with Red Wine Reduction: Sear the buffalo fillet in a hot skillet with olive oil until browned on all sides. Remove the fillet from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, sauté shallots and garlic until softened. Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits. Add beef broth, a sprig of thyme, and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Simmer the sauce until it reduces and thickens slightly. Slice the buffalo fillet and serve it with the red wine reduction sauce, accompanied by roasted baby potatoes and asparagus.
- Buffalo Fillet Tacos: Grill or pan-sear thin strips of buffalo fillet with your favourite taco seasoning until cooked through. Warm up soft tortillas and assemble the tacos with buffalo fillet strips, sliced avocado, shredded lettuce, and a squeeze of lime juice. Top with a drizzle of chipotle sauce or your preferred taco sauce.
- Buffalo Fillet with Herb Butter: Grill or pan-sear the buffalo fillet to your desired doneness. Prepare a compound herb butter by mixing softened butter with chopped fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Place a dollop of the herb butter on top of the hot buffalo fillet to melt. Serve the buffalo fillet with the flavorful herb butter, along with roasted root vegetables or a medley of sautéed greens.
- Buffalo Fillet Stroganoff: Slice the buffalo fillet into thin strips. Sauté sliced mushrooms and onions in a skillet until they are golden brown. Add the buffalo fillet strips and cook until they are just cooked through. Stir in beef broth, Dijon mustard, and a touch of sour cream. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve the buffalo fillet stroganoff over egg noodles or mashed potatoes for a comforting and hearty meal.
