For best results pan fry from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked and no pink colour remains before serving.
Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.
PAN FRY
- Remove all packaging.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Fry the sausages over a low to medium heat for 15 –18 minutes.
- Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.
OVEN
- Remove fall packaging.
- Pre heat oven to 220/Fan 200/Gas 6
- Cook sausages for 18-20 minutes.
- Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.
BBQ:
- Pre-heat the BBQ to a medium heat.
- Remove the product from the packaging.
- Place on the BBQ and cook for 15-18 minutes
- Turn frequently throughout cooking.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
Sausage & Apple Skillet with Mustard Cream: Cook the sausages: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook sausages 10–12 minutes, turning frequently, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and keep warm. Cook the aromatics: In the same pan, sauté onion until soft and lightly caramelized, ~5 min. Add apple slices and thyme; cook 2–3 min until slightly softened. Make the sauce: Deglaze the pan with stock, scraping any brown bits from the bottom. Stir in cream and mustard, simmer 2–3 min until slightly thickened. Season with salt and extra black pepper if desired. Combine and serve: Return sausages to the pan and coat them with the sauce. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
