Fillet Steaks, Haunch Steaks and Ribeye Steaks

Grill

  • Ensure your steaks are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the steaks from the packaging and bring to room temperature.
  • Pre-heat your grill on a medium heat.
  • Whilst waiting for the grill to heat, brush the steak with oil and season with salt & pepper to your liking.
  • Place on the grill and cook for 2-5 minutes each side or to your liking, turning halfway through.
  • Be careful not to overcook the steak as it can become dry and tough.
  • After cooking, remove the steak from the grill and cover with foil. Rest it for up to 5 minutes so that the steak becomes tender and juicier all over.

Serving suggestion: Serve with seasoned skinny fries and peppercorn sauce.

Fry

  • Ensure your steaks are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the steaks from the packaging and bring to room temperature.
  • Pre-heat oil in a pan on a medium heat until the oil starts to sizzle.
  • Whilst waiting for the pan to heat, season the steak with salt & pepper to your liking.
  • Place in the pan and cook for 2-5 minutes each side or to your liking, turning halfway through.
  • Be careful not to overcook the steak as it can become dry and tough.
  • After cooking, remove the steak from the pan and cover with foil. Rest it for up to 5 minutes so that the steak becomes tender and juicier all over.

Serving suggestion: Serve with a rich blackberry & red wine sauce and vegetables.

Burgers

Grill

  • Ensure your burgers are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the burgers from the packaging and allow them to come to room temperature.
  • Pre-heat your grill on a medium heat.
  • Once the grill has heated, place the burgers on, ensuring they are separated evenly.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or to your liking, turning halfway through.
  • The burgers should be firm to touch and when pierced with a fork should run clear juices.
  • Leave to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion: Serve in a toasted burger bun with fresh lettuce & sauce of your choice.

Fry

  • Ensure your burgers are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the burgers from the packaging and allow them to come to room temperature.
  • Pre-heat oil in a pan until it begins to sizzle.
  • Gently place the burgers in the pan ensuring they are separated evenly.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or to your liking, turning halfway through.
  • The burgers should be firm to touch and when pierced with a fork should run clear juices.
  • Leave to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion: Serve in a brioche bun with crispy bacon, sliced tomato & sweet potato wedges.

Sausages

Grill

  • Ensure the sausages are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the product from the packaging and pat them dry to remove any moisture.
  • Pre-heat your grill on a medium heat. Do not let the grill get too hot otherwise the sausages may burst when cooking.
  • Slightly brush the sausages with oil before placing them on the grill.
  • Cook for 12-16 minutes or to your liking, turning frequently throughout cooking to ensure the sausages are cooked all the way through.
  • The sausages should have a crisp skin once cooked.
  • Leave them to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion: Serve in red wine gravy with root vegetables.

Fry

  • Ensure the sausages are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the sausages from the packaging and pat them dry to remove any moisture.
  • Pre-heat oil in a non-stick pan until it starts to sizzle. Do not let the oil get too hot as the sausages may burst during cooking.
  • Cook for 12-16 minutes or to your liking. Turn frequently throughout cooking to ensure the sausages are cooked through.
  • The sausages should have a crisp skin once cooked.
  • Leave them to rest on the side for a few minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion: Serve with crushed potatoes and a rich onion gravy.

Mince

Casserole

  • Ensure the mince is thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the mince from the packaging.
  • In a casserole dish heat some oil until it starts to smoke then carefully add the mince.
  • Stir frequently so the mince does not stock to the bottom of the dish.
  • Add chicken stock, season to your liking and continue to stir.
  • The mince should appear to change in colour once cooked through.

Serving suggestion: Serve in your traditional bolognese recipe.

Meatballs

Shallow Fry

  • Ensure the meatballs are thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the product from the packaging.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan until it begins to sizzle.
  • Add the meatballs and cook for 10-12 minutes or to your liking.
  • Turn frequently ensuring the meatballs are cooked thoroughly.
  • Cook until they have browned in colour all over.

Serving suggestion: Add the meatballs to a tomato & herb sauce and serve with spaghetti.

Diced Steak

Slow Cook

  • Ensure the diced steak is thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the meat from the packaging and bring to room temperature.
  • Pre-heat the oven on a medium heat and oil in a frying pan.
  • Whilst waiting for the oven to heat, season the meat with salt & pepper to your liking.
  • Add the meat to the frying pan and brown on all sides then transfer it to the casserole dish.
  • Cover the meat with stock and cook in the oven for 2 hours.
  • The meat should be juicy and very tender.

Serving suggestion: Serve in your favourite casserole dish.

Seafood

Bake

  • Ensure the fish is thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove from the packaging.
  • Pre-heat the oven on a medium heat.
  • Lightly brush the fish with oil and season with salt to your liking.
  • Gently place the fish in a non-stick baking tray and put in the oven.
  • Bake for 10 minutes per inch of thickness until fish is cooked through thoroughly or to your liking.

Serving suggestion: Drizzle the fish with your favourite sauce and serve with fresh vegetables.

Pan Fry

  • Ensure the fish is thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
  • Remove the fish from the packaging.
  • Pre-heat oil or butter in a non-stick pan and bring to a medium heat.
  • Season your fish to your liking. You may wish to coat the fish in egg and then breadcrumbs.
  • Place the fish in the pan. Once cooked halfway through turn the fish and cook on the other side until it is cooked all the way through.

Serving suggestion: Serve on a bed of Moroccan style couscous.
